  Stunning property with the lake and complementary kayaks etc. We have just stayed there for our second time, this time we took our dog which was hassle free. The last time we went, it was cold, but this time much hotter and the lake was a blessing from the heat, for us and the dog!
  
  We stayed in a different chalet this time and it was just as clean and cosy as the last one. I would highly recommend this accommodation. Staff are friendly and clearly hard working otherwise they wouldn't be able to present the property as well as they do. Excellent BBQ facilities, with multiple 6+ burner BBQs. If there are a group of people, 2 chalets can open up their balcony to be shared, ideal for multiple families (and pets) to mingle.
  
  Dwellingup is dog friendly too, so easy to take the dog out (as you can't leave woofy unattended, rightfully).
  
  My only constructive criticism would be that some of the kayaks/paddle boats etc, are needing some 'maintenance' and the sun loungers in the undercover area by the lake need to be replaced and that area generally also needs weeding/tidying. The railings around our chalet were rusted away in 1 spot. For us these weren't issues, and certainly didn't detract from our pleasureable stay; I merely mention them so that this isn't a single sided review and to reflect the 4 (not 5 star review).
  
  We will certainly be back in the next 18 months and we have already started discussing multiple families going down from Perth on our next visit.

  The owners, Jude and Harold, have operated the place for many years, and they take pride in it. We booked a 2-bedroom lodge, which comfortably sleeps five. The place is spotless clean. It's dog-friendly, there's even a dog yard at the back of each lodge. The 8 lodges face a lake where a canoe and several kayaks are available to use.
  We enjoyed staying here very much. Thank you, Jude and Harold, for making the property available to use.

  Dwellingup Forest Lodge is a wonderful place for a quiet getaway.
  The chalets are extremely clean and tidy and offer everything you need. We loved that we could bring along our pup and watch him play all day by the lake. He had such a blast! As did we. The kayaks are freely available to paddle on the water and enjoy the tranquility.
  Jude was a lovely host that made us feel very welcome.
  We will definitely be coming back, and next time we will bring our friends and their dogs for another great weekend away.
  Also to note: Dwellingup town is also quite dog friendly, so we were able to eat out with our pup at several different places, which is very convenient if you wish to leave the chalet, as you cannot leave your dog unattended at the lodge.

  A truly excellent getaway. Very clean chalets, beautiful setting and a wonderful lake as a back drop. So relaxing and woofy friendly. This is our new go to place.

  A peaceful and relaxing getaway. Not far from Perth, surrounding by trees and wild nature! Enjoyed listening to the birds, bush walking, kayaking and swimming in the lake! The owner keep the chalets very clean and tidy, especially the bed, very comfortable! Also felt extremely good we could bring our dog there. Thanks Jude and Harold.
